Biography

The Philly Reggae and Dub band is an initiative to contribute a more authentic representation of Reggae music in the city of Philadelphia and beyond. Philly Reggae Band is under the direction of Jamaican born, Philly raised artist, Jonifin Marvin Benjamin. With deep roots in Jamaican culture as well as American music culture, the direction of the music is a dynamic one where songs with reggae influences spanning across various music genres can be found in the PRB set lists. Jonifin Marvin also aims to provide another platform for local musicians who are knowledgeable of the Reggae genre to display their talent. PRB aims to be the official ambassador when it comes to live Reggae in Philadelphia.
