After being introduced into Turntablism in 2005 at the age of 13, DJ Lean Wit It has been taking the nightclub scene by storm. His vast knowledge of music and sharp cuts provides proof as to why he spins at the hottest clubs in the Tri-State as well as being a Radio DJ for Temple University’s WHIP Student Radio. Whether it’s Hip Hop, Reggae, Afrobeat, Funk or Electro, there is no limit to what DJ Lean Wit It can play. DJ Lean Wit It has rocked crowds in Philly, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, and Baltimore. Once he started playing for 21+ crowds under the age of 18 he soon linked up with DJ Damage via the club scene and became a member of Stay Wit It Entertainment.
He later started to DJ for artists such as Selina Carrera, Mic Stew and Motown’s MPrynt and has opened up for artists like Raekwon, Machine Gun Kelly, Juelz Santana, Musiq Soulchild, Action Bronson, Dice Raw, Big Daddy Kane, Salt N Pepa and Ursula Rucker just to name a few. He has also worked with Legends such as Rich Medina and Bahamadia as well as rocking crowds with DJs like the Illvibe Collective, DJ Total Eclipse, DJ Jay-Ski and DJ Aktive.
DJ Lean Wit It is a Temple University Graduate and holds the title as the 2012 Redbull DJ Master Champion. He has been recognized in the Philadelphia Weekly and Cred Magazine as one of Philly’s up and coming DJs and has been mentioned in blogs such as Hip Hop Since 1987. Lean is also the Co-Founder of Ugly Bass, a Life Style Brand and DJ Crew that provides a music festival exploiting the amazing DJ culture in Philadelphia and abroad. When DJ Lean Wit It isn’t spinning, he mentors disenfranchised youth with artist, Sannii Crespina-Flores in a program called “Do Remember Me” giving them a voice and molding them into tomorrow’s leaders.
